5 Reasons Winter is A Great Time to Go Mini Golfing in Pigeon Forge

Beat the winter blues this year and take a trip to the Smoky Mountains! Things may slow down a bit during the winter months, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any fun to be had. Our mini golf attraction is open year-round and adds incredible entertainment and value to your trip. Keep reading to learn more about why winter is a great time to go mini golfing in Pigeon Forge!

1. Open All Day Every Day

While some attractions close or reduce their days open during the winter in Pigeon Forge, we stay open all day every day. Here are our current 2025 off-season hours:

Monday through Thursday: 10 am to 9 pm

Friday: 10 am to Midnight

Saturday: 9 am to Midnight

Sunday: 9 am to 9 pm

The best way to check our hours is by purchasing your mini golf tickets online in advance. Not only will you be able to see the most up-to-date hours of operation, but buying them online automatically saves you $2 per ticket compared to our ticket prices at the gate when you arrive.

2. Less Crowded

The best part about mini golfing in Pigeon Forge during the winter is that it’s less crowded, making it easier for you to get the time slot you want and really take your time making your shots. It’s an especially good time to bring younger kids who’ve maybe never played before so that they can get used to using the putter and practicing shots without worrying about taking too much time at each hole.

3. Best Time For Groups

Since many attractions in town are less busy during the months of January and February, now is a great time to book a group event! We offer group packages with food, golf, and more, so bring your church’s youth group, homeschool group, or sports team for a fun time. You can even book a corporate event or birthday party at our mini golf attraction! Reach out to us today about discount rates and package pricing for groups of 10 or more.

4. Indoor Activity During Cold Weather

Obviously, the winter months usually mean colder temperatures, though it’s usually pretty mild in the Smokies so you can continue to enjoy our outdoor mini golf course. But if you want to be indoors, our Mermaid indoor course is a winding under-the-sea labyrinth that everyone can enjoy. Plus, if you purchase our Park Hopper Pass, you’ll be able to complete multiple indoor golf courses in town and get some incredible discounts!
